Happy New Moon: A Time to Turn Inward and Reconnect

Hi everyone, and happy new moon! 🌑

Today, I want to offer something a little different. Instead of sharing astrological updates or insights about planetary movements, I invite you to take a pause from all the external information—just for today, just for this moon cycle—and turn inward.

With so much information constantly available, it’s easy to forget that we are deeply connected to the source—and that our soul holds all the guidance we truly need. Sometimes we look outward for answers without even checking in with ourselves first. My hope with this post is to gently remind you that every moon phase, astrological event, solstice, or seasonal shift is an invitation to come home to yourself.

Before turning to external interpretations of cosmic or Earth cycles, I encourage you to first ask: What is my soul showing me right now? How am I personally relating to this moment?

Your soul knows you more deeply and intimately than anyone else ever could. It holds the wisdom of your path, your timing, and your truth. At times, it may guide you to seek support—through a healing session, a meaningful book, a retreat, or a conversation that resonates. All of that is beautiful and valuable, and there’s something powerful that can happen when you also take time to turn inward. This connection to yourself becomes an anchor—helping you receive external guidance without becoming dependent on it, and without losing touch with your own inner voice. Your soul is always there, gently guiding you back to your rhythm, your truth, your knowing.

Every living being on Earth moves through cycles. We rise, we fall, we begin again. The moon mirrors this rhythm beautifully, and so do we. So today, I encourage you to create a quiet space for yourself. Step away from the noise. Unplug. Light a candle, maybe burn some incense, and allow yourself to slow down and listen inward.

Use this time to reflect on your own inner cycle:

  • How are you feeling emotionally?

  • What’s going on in your physical body?

  • How are your social interactions?

  • What’s your current mental state?

Can you sense a cycle ending? Or perhaps something new beginning? Maybe you're in that in-between space—no longer who you were, but not quite who you're becoming.

As you check in with each layer of your experience, see if you can stay connected to your body and its sensations. You might find it helpful to journal your thoughts, feelings, and insights. After journaling, pause. Take a few deep, grounding breaths. You can even set a timer for 3 to 5 minutes and simply focus on your breath and your body. If your mind begins to wander, that’s okay—gently guide it back to your breath, back to your body.

This simple pause teaches your mind that it’s safe to create space. It allows everything you’ve uncovered to settle and integrate—without needing to force clarity or rush the process. Sometimes, it’s in that spacious stillness that the deepest insights quietly emerge.

Then, after that pause, gently ask yourself: What does this new Moon mean for me?

This simple but powerful practice can help you reconnect with your own rhythm, your own patterns, and your own wisdom—aligned with the cycles of the moon and the Earth.

Gift yourself this moment. Listen within. The Moon is always whispering—sometimes we just need to be quiet enough to hear her.

With love,

Giuliana
